Terms and Conditions
Last updated: June 2025
1. Scope
These terms and conditions govern the on-demand 3D printing service provided by ControlPia, a commercial brand operated by Bymouras, based in Gandia, Spain.
The service is aimed at individuals and small businesses wishing to obtain parts manufactured using FDM 3D printing technology.
2. Order process
The contracting process takes place in the following stages:
- The customer submits a request describing their idea or requirement via the contact form or by email.
- ControlPia prepares and sends a personalised quote specifying the material, timeline and total cost.
- The order is confirmed only upon the customer's express approval of the quote.
No initial request implies any purchase commitment or obligation to provide the service until both parties confirm the quote.
3. Pricing and payment
Prices shown on the website are indicative. The final price is the one stated in the approved quote.
Payment is made before production begins, by bank transfer or Bizum, as indicated in the quote. No production is started without payment confirmation.
4. Delivery times
The estimated delivery timeline is stated in the approved quote. This timeline is indicative and may vary depending on the complexity of the piece, the workload at the time of the order, or circumstances beyond ControlPia's control.
ControlPia will notify the customer of any significant delay relative to the agreed timeline.
5. Custom products and right of withdrawal
All pieces produced by ControlPia are custom-made to the customer's specifications. As such, they are excluded from the right of withdrawal under consumer protection law, pursuant to Article 103(c) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users.
6. Manufacturing defects
In the event of a proven manufacturing defect attributable to ControlPia, we undertake to replace the piece at no additional cost to the customer.
Returns and claims will not be accepted for damage that occurred during transit or as a result of misuse or mishandling by the customer.
For any claim related to transit damage, the customer must photograph the order upon receipt, before opening the packaging, in order to have evidence for a claim against the carrier.
7. Intellectual property
3D files, designs or any other material provided by the customer are the customer's sole responsibility. By submitting a file, the customer declares and warrants that they hold all necessary rights over that file and that its reproduction does not infringe any third-party rights.
ControlPia accepts no liability arising from the infringement of intellectual or industrial property rights caused by files supplied by the customer.
8. Limitation of liability
ControlPia is not liable for the use that the customer or third parties make of the produced pieces. The customer bears sole responsibility for the final use of the manufactured objects.
9. Amendments
ControlPia reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this website. Customers are encouraged to review it periodically.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute arising from the provision of the service, both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gandia, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
